Transport & Hostel
Manage bus routes, vehicle records, student allocation, and hostel room assignments.
Transport — Route setup
Go to Transport → Routes. Define each bus route with a name, starting point, and list of stops with pickup times. Each route is assigned a vehicle and driver.
Transport — Vehicle and driver records
Maintain vehicle details (registration, model, capacity, fitness expiry) and driver records (name, license number, contact, license expiry) at Transport → Vehicles and Transport → Drivers.
Allocating students to routes
Go to Transport → Student Allocation. Select the student and assign them to a route and stop. Transport fee is calculated automatically based on route and integrated with the fee module.
Hostel — Room setup
Go to Hostel → Rooms. Add hostel buildings, floors, and rooms. Each room has a capacity (number of beds). Rooms can be designated for boys or girls.
Hostel — Student allocation
Go to Hostel → Allocations. Search for the student and assign them to a specific room and bed. The hostel fee head is automatically activated for the student in the fee module.
Occupancy report
The Hostel Occupancy Report shows each room's capacity vs current occupancy, making it easy to identify vacant beds for new allocations.
