Exam Planning
Create exam sessions, assign subjects, and schedule dates for each class.
Creating an exam session
Go to Examination → Exams → New Exam. An exam session groups a set of subject exams under one name (e.g. "Term 1 Exam", "Annual Exam 2026"). Fill in:
- Exam name and academic year
- Date range (start and end dates)
- Classes included in this exam session
Assigning subjects and dates
For each exam session, add subject-wise exam details: subject name, date, start time, maximum marks, and passing marks. The system validates that no two subjects are scheduled on the same date for the same class.
Multiple exam sessions
Schools typically run 3-4 exam sessions per year (Unit Test 1, Unit Test 2, Half-Yearly, Annual). Create all of them at the start of the year. Marks and results for each session are tracked separately.
Admit cards
After finalising the exam schedule, print admit cards from Examination → Admit Cards. Select the class and exam session. Admit cards include the student's name, class, roll number, and subject-wise exam schedule.
