Fee Structure
Define fee heads and class-wise amounts before collecting any fees.
Fee heads
Go to Fee Management → Fee Heads. Create the fee types your school collects — examples: Tuition Fee, Development Fee, Lab Fee, Sports Fee, Computer Fee, Library Fee, Exam Fee, Transport Fee, Hostel Fee. Each head has a name and frequency (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Class-wise fee amounts
Go to Fee Management → Fee Structure. For each class, assign the applicable fee heads and amounts. Primary classes may have a different tuition fee than secondary classes. Fee structures can also vary by category (general, SC/ST, management quota, staff ward).
Fee discounts and concessions
Define concession types at Fee Management → Concessions (e.g. Merit Scholarship 25%, Sibling Discount ₹500/month). Apply concessions to individual students at the time of fee collection or in bulk from the Fee Structure screen.
Late fine
Configure a per-day late fine at Settings → Fee Settings. The system automatically calculates and adds the fine when collecting fees past the due date.
