Batch, Serial & Multi-Location
Batch tracking, serial numbers, and multi-warehouse inventory — coming in v1.1.
Coming in v1.1. The data model already supports multiple warehouses — the management screens and batch/serial UI are being built.
What's Planned
- Batch Tracking: Assign batch numbers to groups of units. Full traceability for manufacturing lots and expiry-dated goods.
- Serial Number Tracking: Unique serial per unit. For electronics, equipment, and warranty management.
- Multi-Location: Define multiple warehouses. Track stock by location and transfer between them.
- Physical Stock Count: Count sheet, entry of counted quantities, automatic adjustment postings.
- Batch Expiry Report: Batches expiring within N days.
v1.0 Coverage
v1.0 tracks stock quantity and FIFO cost in a single pool per item. Multi-location and batch/serial are additive — no data migration required when v1.1 ships.
