How These DNS Tools Work
Each tool sends real DNS queries from our server to public resolvers and, where needed, straight to your authoritative name servers. The answers are shown as they come back, with TTL values and plain-language checks.
No account is needed and nothing you enter is stored. Domain names are used only to run the lookup. To keep the service fast for everyone, each visitor can make a limited number of requests per minute.
Which DNS Tool Should I Use?
- Changed a record? Use the propagation checker to see which servers already have it.
- Email going to spam? Check SPF, DKIM and DMARC, then review your mail servers with the MX records tool.
- Something feels broken? Run the full domain health report to test every name server.
- Using DNSSEC? Compare the DNSKEY and DS records to confirm the chain of trust.
Standards: RFC 1035, the DNS specification.
