What is Morse Code?
Morse code is a method of encoding text characters as sequences of dots (·) and dashes (—), developed by Samuel Morse and Alfred Vail in the 1830s. Each letter, digit, and punctuation mark has a unique pattern. Morse code was the first electrical digital communications system and was used extensively in telegraphy, maritime communication, and aviation. It is still used by amateur radio operators today.
